Set of four edited chapters from one of Republic’s serials featuring Zorro, most probably, Zorro’s Fighting Legion (1939). Reed Hadley stars as Don Diego/Zorro. Silent prints with some intertitles in three languages. On the spliced-on leaders, the numbers of the parts are indicated as “1-2” and “5-6”. We have no way of knowing whether this is correct.
The four 60m/200ft parts have been combined on two 120m/400ft reels. The first parts of both reels lack their main titles. Print condition is passable (quite some light lines throughout, a total of about 4 splices), but image quality is pretty good.
