This is a set of two sequences from the famous American serial The Perils of Pauline (1914), starring Pearl White. The first sequence was released by Blackhawk as Episode 2: The Goddess of the Far West, and is about 160m/540ft. The second one was released as The Deadly Turning (without using a chapter number) and is about 40m/140ft. Both sequences, spliced together on two 120m/400ft reels, are complete as released by Blackhawk. Please note that due to the various versions of the serial released, it’s hard to tell exactly how these 8mm releases relate to the original chapter numbers.
