The Funniest Man in the World is an American compilation film from 1967, edited by Vernon Becker, bringing together scenes from many classic comedies starring Charlie Chaplin, among which The Immigrant, The Rink and Easy Street.
The film features a music score, sound effects, and some narration in French (which is not subtitled). The original English title cards, however, have been left in (with French subtitles). The print consists of three full 60m/200ft parts which have been spliced together on a 240m/800ft reel.
French release, as L’homme le plus drole du monde.
