Seddok, l’Erede di Satana [Atom Age Vampire] is an Italian horror film from 1960, directed by Anton Giulio Majano and starring Alberto Lupo, Susanne Loret, and Sergio Fantoni.
Contrary to what its international title suggests, there are no vampires in this film. But things certainly get horrific, when a mad scientist invokes unusual methods for restoring the beauty of the striptease dancer he is in love with. A rare and very good print of this classic gothic horror film, now a cult movie.
The original running time of the film is 103 minutes. Some DVD releases are much shorter: 89 or even 67 minutes. At 4 x 150m/500ft, the super 8 release comes quite close to the original. The film comes in two Cinebook cases; artwork shown is for reference only.
Released by Inter-Pathé, Germany, as Seddok – Der Würger mit den Teufelskrallen.
