Selected scenes from the 1962 Japanese science fiction Kaiju film Kingu Kongu tai Gojira (King Kong vs. Godzilla) produced by Toho Studios. Directed by Ishirō Honda with visual effects by Eiji Tsuburaya, the film starred Tadao Takashima, Kenji Sahara, and Mie Hama. English sound with Dutch subtitles.
This digest focuses on the sequence where two Japanese explorers arrive at Faro Island in search of King Kong, who they want to capture for a publicity stunt. The explorers and the native inhabitants of the island are threatened by a giant octopus, but King Kong comes to the rescue. Godzilla is not in this digest.
A very rare cutdown of this film.
Released by Real Film, Netherlands, as Het monster van Fao Eiland [sic].
