Collection of film clips showing German actor Hans Albers in five of his starring roles. Produced and released by Degeto/Tobis, probably in the early 1940s. Silent with German titles.
The film is complete and has no splices. A rare item, which comes in its original gold and red slipcase (partly split at two edges).
Degeto was the same company that issued the Weltspiegel newsreels, which helped spread Nazi propaganda all over Europe. This film was part of a large collection of Degeto films which, according to its former owner, was confiscated by a member of the Dutch resistance in the last days of WWII.
