Abridgement in three parts of La Noche de la Furia [Cop-In], a Spanish B-thriller from 1974 directed by Carlos Aured and starring Glen Lee, Blanca Estrada, Julián Ugarte, Maria Perschy. English sound with Dutch subtitles.
A policeman infiltrates in a gang of forgers. Nice seventies atmosphere with lots of hippies and some free love.
Please note: at the start of each reel, speed of sound is not correct for a few seconds – it’s too slow. This is not a fault of this particular print; all copies we have seen have the same error. Well, it all adds to the atmosphere.
Color is pretty good (Agfa film stock). The first part is preceded by the 3-minute theatrical trailer, which also has good color.
The three 120m/400ft parts have been respooled to two 240m/800ft reels, which come in plain boxes. Artwork shown is for reference only.
Released by Arco, Netherlands.
