Selected scenes from A Fistful of Dollars (1964), an Italian western directed by Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood in his first leading role, alongside Gian Maria Volonté, Marianne Koch.
Color is difficult to assess, as the film was primarily conceived in earth tints. So the sepia that dominates the print may be just what Leone wanted, in most cases. Other colors are present as well: bright yellows, purples and grays, an occasional blue. And as the film was printed on Agfa 3S film stock which usually holds up its color very well, we assume color is actually pretty good.
The artwork, cut from the original box, is used as an inlay.
Released by Marketing Film, Germany, as Für eine Handvoll Dollar.
