In 1978, the small German 8mm distributor AS Film celebrated its 20th birthday. The catalog they published on the occasion shows a varied list. Among the features, a few German full-length classics stand out, and there is an interesting four-parter of Ferry to Hongkong, with Curd Jürgens and Orson Welles. Other notable films are digests of cult titles such as William Castle’s Macabre and obscure westerns.
