Abridgement in three parts of Death Race 2000 (1975), an American cult satire/action film directed by Paul Bartel, produced by Roger Corman and starring David Carradine, Simone Griffeth and Sylvester Stallone.
Color has hardly faded and is good to very good. In the first 2-3 minutes of the second reel, the sound volume fluctuates somewhat, but all dialogue is intelligible. Otherwise a very nice print.
The original three 120m/400ft parts have been respooled to two 240m/800ft reels (1 part on the first reel, 2 parts on the second).
The film comes in two archival boxes. The artwork of two of the three original boxes, which is in good condition, is included.
Released by Ufa/ATB, Germany, as Frankensteins Todes-Rennen.
If your projector can’t handle 240m/800ft reels, we can respool the film to 120m/400ft reels at no extra charge. If you’d like us to respool, please add a note to your order (there’s a special box for notes in the shopping cart), or send us an email right after you have ordered.
